Chandrashila means Moon rock. Chopta chandrashila trek is a journey to the height of about 4000 meters above sea level. Har Ki Dun Valley Trek

The name "Har Ki Dun" itself is interpreted in two different ways. First is the literal translation, i.e. Valley of Gods - Har is the name for Shiva, one of the trinity gods as per Hinduism. Dun means a valley. The other name has more resemblance with the local culture and traditions. The second translation is "The sound of Shiva or the Sound of God". Every year to welcome Lord Someshwara (a form of Shiva) a festival is held in the valley, where a Dhaki (drummer) plays the drum. It is said that ages ago a Dhaki had disappeared in the Valley above and every year during the festival month one can still occasionally hear the Dhaki playing drums far up in the valley in the early hours of the day. Many village elders mention of several accounts throughout their lives about hearing these drums.

To make this trek comfortable for a wider audience we have a beautiful & very comfortable campsite at Ghangria as a base for explorations into the valley. Different flowers bloom in different months but the peak blooming period is from mid-July to mid-August. Almost 300 species of wildflowers thrive here unhindered by humanity.

The prominent species are Brahmakamal, Blue Poppy, Cobra Lily Anemone, Geranium and Marsh Marigold & Prinula. Also, the Valley of flowers Uttarakhand has to offer much more than flowers. Brahmatal Trek

 Serolsar Lake Trek

It is a high altitude lake which is located in the district Kullu. It is about (10,171 feet) above the sea level. This lake is surrounded by thick forest cover. Nag Tibba

Nag Tibba lies on the foothills of the Garhwal Himalayas, North-East of Mussoorie. The peak is at an altitude of 3100 m. It offers spectacular views of Mussoorie, Vikasnagar, the Banderpoonch range and spurs created by the Yamuna river valley. Nag Tibba is a typical ridge peak on the Nag Tibba Range of the lower Himalayas. In fact, along with the Pir Punjal and Dhauladhar, the Nag Tibba range forms one of the 3 main ranges of the lower Himalayas. It is mentioned in the very famous book '7 years in Tibet' which chronicles the escape of Austrian climber Hienrich Harrer from the British jail into Tibet.

There is a temple dedicated to Nag Devta and the range owes its name to this temple. Snakes have always held an important status in the Hindu religion. According to Hindu mythology, snakes are considered as the representation of rebirth, death and mortality, due to its casting of the skin and being symbolically "reborn". Since the days when religion and worship was a response to a way of life rather than a reason for existence; snakes have been given a cult status. In some places snake gods are associated with fertility. There are many snake god myths and iconographic symbols associated with them in the Hindu mythology like that of Sheshnag( Vishnu's resting couch),ananatnag( the endless snake), Kaliya( Krishna's dance),Vasuki (churning of the ocean), Padmanabha ( guardian snake especially in south India), Manasa devi( snake goddess) etc. For the villagers in this part of the mountains he is the protector of their cattle and sheep. Domesticated animals are their biggest assets and Nag Devta their protector.

 Beas Kund Trek

One of the most beautiful short trek trail starting a little ahead from Solang Valley in Himachal Pradesh. The magic of Beas Kund Trek begins right at the Solang Valley 15 km away from Manali. This trip is full of gigantic trees with massive trunks as sentries protecting the visitor as they go deeper into the trail like a fairy tale turning into reality with the lovely Beas River tumbling in tiny streams throughout the trek.
