Triund Trek Itinerary

Day 1 - Delhi to McLeodganj

Arrive in Delhi and transfer to McLeodganj at 06:30pm. Overnight bus journey to McLeodganj.

 

Day 2 - McLeodganj sightseeing

Upon arrival in Mcleodganj, relax & freshen up. A hot breakfast at The Hogger (hostel’s cafe) shall be served. Post check-in at 1 PM, get ready for a fun packed day tour of the “Lhasa” town.  Don’t forget to move  light, put on sport shoes & take your camera. Our tour expert takes you around: Bhagsu temple & waterfall, Monastery, Mcleod town & bazaar, Sunset point, village hopping, etc. Reach the hostel after the day’s effort and retire in your warm & cozy beds.  A delicious vegetarian dinner is served in the Hostel's cafe around 9 PM.

Day 3 - McLeodganj - Triund

After breakfast get ready for the trek. While trekking watch out for twists and turns on those hairpin curves. Do not forget to click the dense pine forest and migrant birds. After reaching Triund and pitching the tents, you can enjoy a beautiful sunset. A delicious vegetarian dinner (around the bonfire) sums up the day for a peaceful night under the twinkling sky.

Day 4 - End Triund Trek

Wake up early and enjoy sunrise from the top. After breakfast enjoy the mountain top. Will start descending by 11am. And will reach McLeodganj around late afternoon or early evening. Then move towards Delhi by Volvo. Overnight journey by bus.

Day 5 - Delhi

Arrive at Delhi and start your home journey. Trip ends here.

Triund Trek Details 

Snuggled up in the heart of Mcleodganj and Dharamshala, settled at the foothills of the Dhauladhar range, is the enchanting village of Triund. The trek to Triund is regarded as one of the most famous and effortless treks in Himachal Pradesh. We will start this trek from Dharamkot as the trail from here is undoubtedly prettier as it winds through a dense crown of pine woods.

Best season to visit Triund Trek
