We will visit the highest village in India, Komic, which has a motorable road. We will drive today to Langza. A giant painted Buddha statue stands in front of the new monastery on a hill above the settlement. The Buddha is shown contacting the soil in the figure, which faces west and looks out over the Spiti valley.
The Geological Survey of India considers Spiti one of the world's most fossil-rich regions. Fossils reaching back a few hundred million years have been discovered in isolated villages of Himachal Pradesh's Lahaul and Spiti valleys. We will finally send a postcard from Hikkim to our loved ones from the highest Post office in the world. Later visit Key Monastery and head back to Kaza in evening. Day Seven - Kaza to Chicham Bridge to Chandratal Lake to Manali
