    About Hampi

    Hampi is nestled within the ruins of the medieval city of Vijayanagar in the state of Karnataka, on the banks of the Tungabhadra river. Set in a surreal and beautiful boulder-strewn landscape, Vijayanagara the City of Victory is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and although the city was destroyed by marauding Mughal invaders in the 16th century, much of it remains today. Enjoy a sightseeing tour of the ancient ruins that are spread over 26 sq km area, many of which lie in and around Hampi Bazaar and the nearby riverside area, which also encompasses the city’s most sacred enclave of temples and ghats. East of Hampi Bazaar is the UNESCO listed 16th-century Vittala Temple, the undisputed highlight of the ruins.

    About Badami

    Badami Boasting about the Buddhist architecture and sculptures of Lord Vishnu, the Badami Caves are majestic and sure to mesmerize you with its massive boulders: The caves overlook Agastya Lake and many small hillocks that carry a hypnotic charm. Enroute, if you’re lucky enough you’ll spot sunflower fields making your journey worthwhile.

    Hampi Badami Tour Itinerary

    Day One - Arrival at Hampi and local sightseeing

    Today we arrive at Hospet as we get transferred to our respective homestay by auto riksha. Our day start with sightseeing the ancient ruins in and around Hampi bazar and riverside area. Our day ends as the sunsets around the Mantanga Hill as we continue to stroll around Tungabhadra river. Overnight stay at local homestay, Hampi.

    Day Two - Hampi to Badami

    After early morning breakfast, will move to Badami in private vehicle. On the way visit, Pattadakal a World Heritage Site, has 10 major temples representing early Chalukyan architecture, the biggest of which is dedicated to lord Virupakshapura, and Aihole, which is known as the “Cradle of Indian Architecture”, has over a hundred temples scattered around the village. Finally, Badami, magnificently situated in a canyon, and scattered amongst the surroundings hills famous for its large rock cut caves. In the evening will return back to Hampi. Overnight stay at local homestay, Hampi.

    Day Three - Hampi sightseeing

    Post breakfast, we start by crossing the river to hire auto as we head towards Anegudi. Anegundi or Anegondi, is a place of historical and mythological importance which takes you back to the days of the Ramayana pre-historic rock Art and Vijaynagara era monument in ruins. A cozy home-stay near paddy farm is waiting for you. Enjoy the rest of the day exploring the green paddy field hamlet at leisure on bikes. Post lunch will do coracle ride and water activities. Early evening we visit historic Pampa Sarovar followed by a small hike (30 min uphill) to Anjaneya Hill a birth place of Lord Hanuman and houses a very beautiful Hanuman Temple on top of the hill, also known as Monkey Temple. We end our day with heavenly sunset. Overnight stay at local homestay, Hampi.

    Day Four - Departure from Hampi

    Today post breakfast enjoy near by attraction after lunch we head back to hospet to board a evening bus back to Mumbai.

    • If cancellation done prior to 30 days of outing 75% will be refunded.
    • If done prior to 15 days of outing 50% will be refunded
    • If done prior to 10 days of outing 30% will be refunded
