Dudhsagar Waterfall Trek Itinerary
Day 1 : 15th Aug
02:30 pm: Meet the Team at Lokmanya Tilak Terminus
03:20 pm: We will be catching the MATSYAGANDHA EXPRESS (12619). Overnight Journey in Train.
Day 2 : 16 Aug
03:00 am: Reach Madgaon Station & greet other members.
03:30 am: Start our journey toward Kulem by Private Vehicle.
04:30 am: Reach Kulem. Check-in at our homestay & take a Power Nap.
07:00 am: Start Trekking from Kulem Station towards Dudhsagar Waterfall.
09:00 am: Reach Dudhsagar Waterfall. Fun time near Waterfall (Trek towards Dudhsagar Bridge is strictly prohibited by Forest Department in case of heavy flow).
10:00 am: Start our return journey to Kulem.
02:00 pm: Reach Kulem Homestay & freshenup.
03:00 pm: Get ready to leave for Varca. Lunch can be done once we reach resort in Varca which is 1 hour away.
04:00 pm: Check in at your resort in Varca and have your lunch.
06:00 pm: Relieve the stress of the body by diving in the most wonderful indoor swimming pool.
09:00 pm: Have your dinner and enjoy the night with your group.
Day 3 : 17th Aug
09:00 am: Wake up and have breakfast. Later explore Varca Beach on your own. 20 minutes walking distance from Resort.
11:30 am: Back to Resort & freshen up.
03:30 pm: Check-out & head towards market for Dry fruit shopping and later head towards Madgaon station.
05:00 pm: Arrive Madgaon Railway Station.
06:00 pm: Catch Konkan Kanya Express and head back to Mumbai with happy memories collected on Dudhsagar Trip.
Day 4 : 18th Aug
Arrival at Mumbai.
Monsoon Safety Measures
- Put clothes, money, camera, phone, etc in polythenes while packing
- Wear shoes with good grips
- Use repellents to keep bugs away
- Make note of the nearest railway station, bus stop, taxi stand, etc.
- Do not stray away from your group during the trek
- Keep family & friends informed about your whereabouts.
Important Note:
- Avoid wearing precious Jewellery while trekking, as Treks and Trails, won’t be responsible for any losses for the same.
- Entering the Dudhsagar waterfall is strictly prohibited.
- No washroom facilities are available in the area.
- Mobile connectivity is unavailable in the area, as it is surrounded by a dense forest.
- Consuming liquor or any kind of Alcoholic substance is prohibited. Carrying any kind of substance that’s illegal is not allowed. Smoking is strictly not allowed. Anybody found smoking or consuming alcoholic drinks will be expelled from the event without a refund.
- Forest Entry charges are subject to change due to change in government of Goa
- ₹700-800 per person extra for one way AC train tickets (subject to availability)
Fitness & Health
- Though trekking is a fun-filled activity, it demands a good amount of physical fitness. If you are under medication, please carry your medicines. During the trek, leaders will have over-the-counter medication for temporary treatment, so do give a heads up to them if you need any medical assistance.
